When Chris and I ate at the Publican last month we thought....this would be a great place to take his dad when he's in town next. Well, we were slackers, didn't get reservations in time so Publican was out of the question. We always have backups. We decided to try another similar place that a friend of ours recommended-- Longman and Eagle. It was more of a bar feel than the Publican and a smaller menu but it lived up to its name of being a gastropub. We all had a fantastic time reminiscing about all of our travels overseas. The drinks were great and we had tete de cochon for the first time ever. We will definitely be back. Great night!
