I have yet to take M to a salon for a haircut. In her 3+ years I've only cut her hair twice. M has been asking me to cut her hair ever since her friend Emma got a hair cut a couple of weeks ago (a really cute cut I must add). She definitely needed it so I mustered up the energy to cut her hair this week. She said she wanted her hair as short as her dad's--- I think that was her way of saying she wanted it shorter. We compromised!!

Can we just skip the whole 'tween' years when she's a copycat consumer robot and get to age 14 or 15 when uncle Mike introduces her to punk rock and she doesn't need a fancy haircut?
