Bologna: The Best Kept Secret of Northern Italy

I loved Bologna!

The streets were lined with fantastic porticos.  We also visited the anatomy theater dating back to  1595.  Chris was totally in his element.  Even for someone (ME!) who finds it hard to understand science, it was fascinating.   Bologna (like Modena) was  much larger than expected but it lacked the crowds and busy feel of Rome which made it feel smaller.    I would recommend for any foodie to visit!  Well worth the trip!

Mangia tutti bene.  Our first meal at the corner trattoria.  Uncle Mii almost smiled for the camera.
