Chris' brother-Mike- and sister-Lisa- live in Portland, OR. So, the end of July we met all of Chris' family out there for a little mini family reunion while celebrating the 10th anniversary of Mike (Chris' brother) and Mel (sorry, Mike, it is a big deal so get over it. Or, should I say sorry Mel for 10 years with Mike....hehe) We also met our soon-to-be brother-in-law and met Mel's FABULOUS family for the first time ever. Man, this was a fun trip. I wanted to take Mel's mom home with me! But, who are we kidding? We don't need an excuse to travel. And, we certainly don't need an excuse to go to Portland. All that rain throughout the Winter really pays big bucks in the lush greenery it produces in the Spring and Summer. It really is a stunning City. Love it!
On a side note, have you seen Portlandia? If you haven't you are missing out. It's hilarious and, as an outsider looking in, pretty true---taken to an absurd level though. Check it out!
