M is playing soccer this Fall. Today they won, 3-0!  That's great for sure but I was most pleased with M's progress.  This was only the third game and she made tremendous improvement (the whole team did actually).  She was aggressive, she wasn't playing with her hair, she ran hard, she had some pretty fancy footwork...kicking the ball backwards, she made some awesome saves as goalie, she really had fun.  I saw a spark in her that I had never seen before.  Kind of cool to see!!
